Pronouncing the letter Y
Listen to the lesson
The Y sound is easy to pronounce. Just like the letter W, it is also very close to a vowel sound.
Instruction: Elevate the middle portion of your tongue without touching the roof of the mouth. Basically, you are making the shape of your tongue into a small rainbow shape. As you make the sound, move the tongue away from the roof of the mouth.
